New Zealand will take on UAE in Match 11 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 on Tuesday, February 10 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. While this will be the UAE's first game of the tournament, New Zealand will look for a winning start.

Captain Mitchell Santner will look for another strong all-round performance from his team.

While UAE enters the World Cup with a well-balanced squad that blends experience with talented youngsters. The team will be led by Muhammad Waseem and will focus on playing fearless cricket, considering that it is up against a tough rival in its first encounter. The batting responsibilities will be carried by Alishan Sharafu, Aryansh Sharma, and Muhammad Zohaib, whereas Junaid Siddiqui and Muhammad Arfan will play an important role for their team.
