The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 final between India and South Africa at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai. The encounter will take place on November 02, 2025 as both teams earned incredible victories in their respective semifinals against Australia and England.

Australia’s Eloise Sheridan and Jemica’s Jacqueline Williams will stand as the two on-field umpires for the final 50-over clash of the event as both sides aim their maiden title of the World Cup. It would be India’s third final after ending with the runners-up tag in 2005 against Australia and 2017 against England. Meanwhile, the Proteas reached to the position for the very first time in their history of women’s cricket.

The same umpiring duo stood during the high-volage clash of the tournament- the first semifinal of the event at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati where the Rainbow Nation bagged a commanding victory of 125 runs against the Nat Sciver-Brunt-led side.

Jacquiline also stood as the umpire during the league-stage clash between India and South Africa on October 09 where the latter pulled off a remarkable victory in the run chase despite their early struggle. Joining them in the team are Seu Redfren as the third umpire while Nimali Perera will be the fourth umpire, and Michelle Pereira as the match referee for the final of the tournament.

This will be the very first women’s ODI World Cup final in women’s cricket in the absence of either Australia or England. In the first semifinal, Laura Wolvaardt smashed a fine knock of 169 runs in 143 balls at a strike rate of 118.18 to post 319 before Marizanne Kapp’s 5/20 bundled out England for 194 to seal the 125-run victory.

In the second semifinal, Phoebe Litchfield’s 119 runs in 93 balls shouldered Australia to 338 runs in 49.5 over before Jemimah Rodrigues’ splendid knock of unbeaten 127 runs in 134 balls completed the successful run chase by five wickets with nine balls to spare.
