Zimbabwe and Namibia are set to jointly host the 16th edition of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026, which will begin on January 15. The tournament will feature 16 teams competing in 24 league-stage matches, followed by 12 Super Six encounters. The top four sides will progress to the semi-finals, with the title clash scheduled for February 6. All matches will be played in the morning, starting at 9:30 AM local time and 1:00 PM IST, ensuring a packed and competitive schedule throughout the event.
The participating nations include Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, Ireland, India, Japan, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Scotland, Tanzania, West Indies, USA, and hosts Zimbabwe. India remain the most successful side in tournament history, having lifted the trophy five times. Entering the competition as runners-up after losing to Australia in the previous final, Ayush Mhatre’s side will begin their campaign against the USA, followed by group matches versus Bangladesh and New Zealand.
