Finn Allen, David Miller, and Heinrich Klaasen have headlined the list of overseas players, joining the International League T20 (ILT20), the premier T20 competition of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for the very first time, with the trio being confirmed as the pre-signings ahead of the competition’s fifth season.
New Zealand opener Finn Allen will be part of the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, while Proteas’ Miller and Klaasen have joined Gulf Giants. The all-rounder of the Australian side, Marcus Stoinis, will also return to the competition with Dubai Capitals after an absence of three years.

The pre-auction signings were completed by the six franchises on August 03, with each team being allowed to sign up to four players before the auction. The remaining squad slots will be filled in the player auction of the fifth edition in Dubai on October 01. The 34-match tournament, consisting of six franchises, will be played in November and December 2026.
Allen, one of the most destructive openers in T20 cricket, arrives in the UAE after a prolific period in international cricket. The 27-year-old smashed a 33-ball century in New Zealand’s T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final against the Rainbow Nation and has smashed 1663 runs in 62 T20Is at a strike rate of 170.73.
David Miller, who has scored 2804 runs in 140 T20Is for the Proteas, will bring massive experience to the Gulf Giants, while Klaasen will appear for the same franchise and look to dominate against the spinners.
