Imad Wasim responds to ex-wife Sannia Ashfaq on Instagram

The former spin all-rounder of the Pakistan side, Imad Wasim, has launched a verbal attack on his ex-wife, Sannia Ashfaq, through a story on his Instagram account. It’s worth mentioning that over the past several months, Sannia has made some serious and brutal allegations against her ex-husband.

Sannia has also slammed the former spinner’s second wife, Nyla Raja. That pushed Wasim to take to his Instagram account and made their struggle in personal life public as he threatened to take legal action against her.

What Imad Wasim actually wrote in his Instagram story

Imad Wasim, using his Instagram account, warned his ex-wife of taking legal action in the future if she continues to interfere in his life. The all-rounder claimed that his life with Sannia is ‘over’ and urged her to refrain from attacking his current family.

“I divorced you for my own reasons, and that chapter of my life is over. My life, my wife, and my family are no longer your concern. My wife has nothing to do with any issues between you and me. She came into my life after I had already divorced you, so stop dragging her into something she was never a part of.” Wasim wrote on his Instagram account.

“It’s time you accept that reality, focus on your own life, and stop creating public drama on a daily basis. This is the last time I will be addressing this publicly.” He penned down.

Sannia accused Wasim of cheating and even called him a murderer during a past Instagram post. She also requested the fans to boycott the Islamabad United side in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 for signing the spinner in the team.

“In December 2023, he got my child aborted in Lahore. He’s a murderer, and I have a video that proves it. He cheated on me.” Sannia blasted.

Imad Wasim has not featured for the national side since June 2024 when he faced Ireland at Lauderhill during the T20 World Cup. His last ODI game for the national side, though, came in 2020 against Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi.
