IND vs NZ 1st ODI

Vadodara is all set to host the 1st One Day International match of the India vs New Zealand limited-overs series, containing an ODI series followed by a T20I series. For this series, the New Zealand cricket board has sent a slightly inexperienced squad with some proven talents to provide stability in the team balance. On the other end, BCCI named a full-strength squad to welcome the touring team.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see two Indian legends – Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma – again in action for the Men in Blue brigade. For the first match at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium, Shubman Gill will open the inning with Rohit Sharma, with Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli in the middle order as pure batters. After the injury of Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul is named as the keeper of the team. Overall, the batting line-up of India is looking strong on paper.

New Zealand, as expected, named their playing combination with the experienced players like Devon Conway, Henry Nicholls, Will Young, Daryl Mitchell, and Glenn Phillips as their main batters, captained by Michael Bracewell. Kristian Clarke will make his ODI debut for the Black Caps.
