[WATCH] IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2025, Super 4: Hardik Pandya disrespect Pakistan during National Anthem!

Another India vs Pakistan match and another controversial moment? A video from today's (September 21) match, when the archrivals met each other for the Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2025, captured a moment of Hardik Pandya in the camera lens, which can offend some cricket fans. 

Team India qualified for the Super 4s of the tournament as an undefeated team from the group stage. Pakistan qualified only after winning against the home team, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). As per the format of this year's Asia Cup, the best four teams are facing each other to determine the top two teams that will fight for the title. 

More than the matches of the Asia Cup 2025, the no-handshake incident caught everyone's attention. When India and Pakistan faced off during the group stage, India refused to shake hands with team Pakistan during the toss and after the match as well. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) did not take the incident lightly, and they straightaway decided to protest about the incident. PCB threatened to withdraw the team from the tournament.

Their allegations were directed straight towards the match referee, Andy Pycroft. Pakistan's threat to boycott the tournament came ahead of their clash against UAE. But, as of now, they are in the ground as per fixtures.

Questionable gesture from Hardik Pandya 

When the on-field controversy was about to cool down, a latest video of Hardik Pandya caught netizens' attention. Before the ball rolled in Dubai International Stadium for today's match, during the national anthem of Pakistan, Pandya was speaking to one of his teammates. Normally, no matter which two teams are on the ground, everyone on the ground tries to show respect for the national anthems to show respect.

The gesture from Hardik Pandya can attract some criticisms from the cricket fans amid the no handshake controversy row.
