The stage is all set for the clash of the titans. India and Pakistan: The rivalry (IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025) between these two teams reached new heights after the 'no handshake' controversy, generated during their group match clash of the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. India defeated Pakistan on September 14, only a week ago, by 7 wickets and 25 balls to spare. Men in Blue entered into Super Fours as the undefeated team in the group stage; they went on to win all three matches in the first phase of the competition. On the other hand, Pakistan had to wait for their confirmed ticket for the Super 4s until the United Arab Emirates match. In their last group match, the Salman Ali Agha-led team outclassed UAE and qualified for the next stage. Abhishek Sharma has been in outstanding form, captain Yadav, Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, Tilak Varma also found their scoring bats. On the bowling side, Kuldeep Yadav proved useful in the dry conditions and slow tracks.

Toss Update:

India won the toss, and Suryakumar Yadav decided to bowl first.

Notably, again, no handshake between two skippers, Suryakumar Yadav and Salman Ali Agha- tension remains.
