Toss and the first innings:

Temba Bavuma back in the action for the crucial match of the series. He won the toss and decided to field first. The pitch at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Raipur was not similar to the surface used in Ranchi for the first ODI. In Raipure, the deck turned into a heavens for batters. During the second innings, when the match was playing under the flood lights, due factor came into the equation. As the spinners faced difficulties to grip the ball, batter found it easy to rotate the strike.

After scoring 135 in Ranchi, the batting maestro registered 102 runs in Raipur. Second innings:

A target of 359 runs was huge, but not something unchasable. Aiden Markram, one of the openers of South Africa replied with a 110-run knock under pressure in the second innings. Skipper Temba Bavuma (46), Matthew Breetzke (68), Dewald Brevis (54) had significant contribution behind today's match result.
