Following the India vs. South Africa 4th T20I match cancellation in Lucknow, the focus is now shifted to Ahmedabad, where these two teams will play the remaining match of the ongoing 5-match T20I series.

As the previous match was cancelled because of dense fog, cricket fans are curious to know about the current weather conditions in Ahmedabad. Will the India vs. South Africa 5th T20I be affected by fog at the Narendra Modi Stadium too? The question remains.

In contrast to Lucknow weather conditions on December 17, the weather conditions in Ahmedabad today seem much more favorable for a cricket match and for the players as well. In Lucknow, the air quality (AQI) was also very poor; it was above 400. According to current reports from Ahmedabad, the city has enjoyed clear skies and bright sunshine since the morning, with no indications of fog or haze that could impair visibility. Based on the current situation, there is no risk of fog delaying the toss or the match's commencement.

Will fog again appear as the villain in IND vs SA T20I match?

The match is important for both of the teams. It is a must-win match for India even after holding the 2-1 lead. If South Indian somehow manages to win today's match, then the series will end with a 2-2 scoreline. But if India wins, then the Men in Blue will be the winner of the T20I series.

According to previous reports, vice captain Shubman Gill is out of the match due to a toe injury during a net session. If he remains unavailable for the match, then the Indian team management will have to make at least one change in the playing XI.
