IND vs WI 2nd Test Day 2: Match Highlights and Key Performance

Shortly after crossing the 500-run mark, Shubman Gill led team India declared their first innings of the ongoing India vs West Indies (IND vs WI 2nd Test), the second and last Test match of the series, where the home team, India, is already leading it by 1-0. After the end of Day 2, the West Indies were again in a challenging situation, having lost 4 wickets already for only 140 runs. If they have to win the match to level the series, then the visiting side first needs to level India's 518-run total, which, as of now, looks beyond their reach.

Key moments of Day 2

Day 2 is mostly marked by the brilliant batting of Yashasvi Jaiswal and his run-out. Because of a miscommunication with the captain, Shubman Gill. This run-out sparked a debate between cricket fans. Some cricket experts believed it was majorly a fault from Gill; for someone, it was an unnecessary hurry from the young opener. Despite the run-out, both scored 100-plus runs in the innings and helped India to register 518 for 5 on the scoreboard. As of now, the West Indies is far behind India's first innings total.

West Indies again in trouble 

On the turning wicket of Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, they already lost their 4 batters and are in deep trouble. Shai Hope with 31 runs remains not out and will start Day 3, but their three top-order batters and skipper Roston Chase already went back to the hut. From the West Indian side, someone needs to step up to save the match as well as their prestige. Experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has already claimed 3 wickets, and Kuldeep Yadav has claimed one wicket.
