Jasprit Bumrah finally joined the wicket fest at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi during the India vs. West Indies 2nd Test match (IND vs WI 2nd Test). Bumrah clean bowled a set batter, Khary Pierre, and caused West Indies' 9th wicket dismissal.

The visiting side's batting collapse continues from the beginning of Day 3. The spinner duo of India—Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav—damaged the top and middle parts of the West Indies batting lineup by taking 7 wickets together. Then, the pacers, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah, started to damage the tail of the West Indies batting order. The spin-bowling all-rounder, Pierre, was looking in control on the pitch when Bumrah shattered the stumps.

Bumrah has not been looking at his best since the beginning of the ongoing 2-match Test series. He took 3 wickets in the first innings of the first match and then remained wicketless for the second innings. In the following match, it was mostly about the spinners of the Indian spin bowling combination, clearing most of the opposition batting unit. Cricket fans across the social media platforms expressed their concerns about the ace pacer's bowling performance. The wicket of Khary Pierre will definitely boost up the pacers' confidence to some level.

Another pinpoint yorker from Jasprit Bumrah

On the 5th delivery of the 73rd over, it was a classic Jasprit Bumrah delivery. The left-handed batter was absolutely clueless against the jaffa. The right-handed pacer launched a good length delivery on the off stump. The batter was beaten both by pace and the line of the delivery. The delivery uprooted the off stump and took it for a cartwheel. The delivery ended the frustrating partnership between Khary Pierre and Anderson Phillip. The southpaw went back to their dugout for 23 off 46, with India leading the match from the front.

After winning the first Test match with pure dominance, as of now, the second Test match is looking destined for the same. India, batting first, registered 518 runs for 5 wickets, and West Indies was bowled out for only 248 runs in the first innings.
