Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's powerful 175 helped India U19 score 400+ total

Indian opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi dominated the first 25 overs of the innings, which set the story of the game, despite England's brilliant attempt to make a comeback in the game. Vaibhav smashed 175 runs in just 80 balls with 15 fours and 15 sixes.

Also, the skipper Ayush Mhatre scored 53 off 51 balls, while the middle-order batters Vedant Trivedi (32), Vihaan Malhotra (30), and Abhigyan Kundu (40) played some useful innings before Kanishk Chouhan's 37 not out off 20 balls secured the 400+ total for India U19.

Among the English bowlers, James Minto (3/63) got three wickets, while Sebastian Morgan (2/74) and Alex Green (2/49) bagged two wickets each.

Middle-order Caleb Falconer's powerful century showed English fightback

In the England innings, opener Ben Dawkins scored 66 off 56 balls, while the no.3 batter Ben Mayes scored 45 off 28 balls. While they were once struggling at 177/7, they showed a strong fightback with a 92-run partnership for the eighth wicket between Caleb Falconer and James Minto. While Minto scored 28 off 41 balls, Caleb smashed 115 off 67 balls with nine fours and seven sixes.
