BCCI shared an interesting video of Team India's training ahead of the 1st match of the India vs New Zealand ODI series (IND vs NZ 1st ODI). The video shows the experienced India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja engaged in a bowling drill with the bowling coach Morne Morkel. The bowling practice was interesting as well as unique in its own way.
The purpose of the bowling video was to make the bowler more accurate. Morkel put multiple marks on the pitch, on which Jadeja had to put the deliveries according to the instructions made by the bowling coach. Along with the colourful spots, there were two blue balls to mark full length.
The video shared by the board from their official social media platforms captured the glimpses of the training. Jadeja was visibly happy and excited after the spot training sequence. The caption of the video reads, "๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐. Watch an interesting spot training sequence, ft. Ravindra Jadeja and Bowling Coach Morne Morkel."

"The coach gave me a task that by the trigger when I am going to pitch the ball. He will take the names of the colours – blue, green and red. He will pick a colour from the three, and I have to pitch the ball closer to that colour with accuracy. Like with a normal match pitch, in between he had kept two blue-coloured balls for the full ball. "So, at the same time, He will tell me to pitch the ball at the last moment; I have to do it," Jadeja explains about the bowling practice season.
From today, the highly anticipated India vs New Zealand limited-overs series is all set to start through a three-match ODI series. The first match of the series will start at 1.30 PM at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium in Kotambi.
