40 of the 56 matches in the IPL season 2021 have been played till now. With 16 games in the group stage still remaining, every match has now become very crucial for the teams. The SRH win on Monday was certainly good news for every other team except Rajasthan Royals.

Looking at the past performances of all the 8 teams, here are all the playoff possibilities. There is no doubt that CSK will be among the top four teams, making their way to the playoffs as currently they are on the top of IPL 2021 table points. Their chances of finishing off the top two slots is around 98%. Talking about DC & RCB both being at the 2nd and 3rd position in the points table are still eligible to be among the four contenders. However, there is little any chance for Sunrisers Hyderabad to qualify for the play-offs.

To sum up, CSK, DC or RCB will be the table toppers after the league matches. There is a high chance that these teams will qualify for the playoffs. Interestingly, RR, PBKS, MI & KKR will have a head-to-head war to be in the 4th position. Lets wait and watch how things unfold in favor of all the teams.
