1. Virat Kohli: He reclaims the Orange Cap after a stellar performance against GT. In the recent match, he accumulated 542 runs in 11 games, including an explosive innings of 42 runs off 17 balls.

2. Ruturaj Gaikwad bounces back to the second spot with a commanding knock for CSK. Scored 509 runs in 10 games, with a notable innings of 62 runs off 48 balls.

3. Sai Sudarshan continues to ascend the rankings with consistent GT performances. He accumulated 418 runs in 10 games with a notable strike rate of 135.71.

4. Riyan Parag’s explosive innings propelled him into the top five of the Orange Cap standings. He registered 409 runs in 10 matches, with an impressive average and strike rate.

5. Despite consistent performances, KL Rahul was not selected for the T20 World Cup. He accumulated 406 runs in 10 games at a commendable strike rate 142.95.

IPL 2024: Purple Cap Standings

1. Despite Mumbai Indians facing challenges this season, Bumrah has been exceptional with the ball. He shines with 17 wickets in 11 matches with an economy rate of 6.40.

2. T. Natarajan secures the second spot with impactful performances for SRH. The left-arm bowler from Sunrisers Hyderabad moves to the second spot after his impactful two-wicket performance against Rajasthan Royals. He claims 15 wickets in just eight matches.

3. Rahman remains a crucial asset for CSK, having had 14 wickets in 9 matches. Although he remained wicketless in the recent match against Punjab Kings, Rahman’s overall contribution cannot be understated.

4. Harshal Patel maintains his position as Punjab’s top wicket-taker. Patel has accounted for 14 wickets in 10 games, maintaining his consistency as one of PBKS’s leading wicket-takers.

5. Sunil Narine displays his bowling prowess with crucial wickets for KKR. The enigmatic spinner for Kolkata Knight Riders showcased his prowess by picking up two crucial wickets against Mumbai Indians. With a total of 13 wickets in 10 matches, Narine secures the fifth spot in the list of leading wicket-takers this season.
