Mumbai Indians (MI) is looking unstoppable. From a tumultuous initial IPL 2025, now near to the playoffs, Hardik Pandya's side has proved their mettle.
With only a league match to play, the 5-time IPL-winning franchise is now in a relaxing mood. Mumbai is next to face Punjab Kings on May 26 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
Prior to the match, Mumbai Indians, from their official social media platforms, shared a video of some of their players dressed like Superman, but in the video, the word 'Shaktiman' popped up. The video makes more sense with the caption of the post, "Superman waali look, Shaktimaan wala swag." Captain Hardik Pandya in the middle, posed like a real superhero, came straight out of a comic book.

Delhi Capitals was Mumbai Indians' one of the toughest hurdles on the way to the playoffs, which they successfully overcame and now verge on confirming a ticket to the round of four. MI is currently lying at the fourth spot with 16 points in 13 games, and one spot behind Delhi Capitals is with 13 points in 13 games; both teams left one match to sign out from the league phase.
If Mumbai defeats Punjab, then MI will reach 18 points, and if Delhi wins in their last encounter against the Shreyas Iyer-led team, then they can get a maximum of 15 points, still behind MI's current point. It is understandable why the players of the Mumbai Indians are currently with a casual frame of mind. MI followers are already stated to dream about their 6th IPL title.
