Watch: RCB’s Tim David enjoys rain with fun swim on ground

Rain may have interrupted RCB's practice session ahead of the IPL restart, but it certainly didn’t dampen the mood — all thanks to Tim David, now hilariously dubbed "Swim David" by fans across the internet!

In a viral moment from Royal Challenge presents RCB Shorts, Tim David turned rain disruption into comedy gold. While the heavens poured above the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Australian big-hitter did not twiddle his thumbs — he took a mop and busted out his inner superhero, sliding over the wet grass with ease like a professional sopper. Shivering, grinning, and completely in the zone, Tim's laugh-out-loud moments had teammates and fans in stitches.

The video was posted on all of RCB's social media accounts with the following caption:
"Tim David ❌ Swim David ✅ Bengaluru rain couldn't spoil the mood of Timmy… Super TD Sopper struck in all glory. ????"

Fans Can't Get Enough

In a matter of minutes, fans swarmed the comments section with memes, appreciation, and laughing emojis. Some referred to it as "the best utilization of a rain delay," while others teased that Tim must be permanently included in the ground staff list. Many called him "RCB's rain warrior," while some just called him the "Sopper King."

This light moment is well-timed for RCB, as they prepare to face the IPL 2025 resumption on May 17 against Kolkata Knight Riders. With the team on a high and Tim David injecting performance and positivity, the camp atmosphere appears just perfect.

As play resumed after the rain had passed, one thing was clear — whether it's hitting sixes or mopping puddles, Tim David is a master of entertaining the fans. RCB fans will be hoping that he brings the same level of excitement — without the mop — to play when he takes to the field this weekend!
