Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play against Gujarat Titans(GT) in the sixty-seventh match of IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both missed the playoffs in IPL 2024.
The last time these two teams clashed, In Match 59 of IPL 2024, Gujarat Titans (GT) won against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). GT openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan both scored centuries and their opening partnership between them is 210 runs, it is matching the record of the highest opening partnership in IPL history. GT scored a good total of 231 runs with their opening partnership. CSK didn't get a good start, they lost three wickets in the first few overs. Daryl Mitchell and Moeen Ali tried to fight back with some quick-fire partnership, but the CSK's early damage was too much. In the end, GT won the match by 35 runs and kept their playoff hopes alive.
Anshul Kamboj : The young fast bowler came in as an Impact Player in CSK’s few matches and bowled well in the crucial times. He took crucial wickets in powerplay, showing promise with a decent average and strike rate.
Ravichandran Ashwin: The experienced spinner made his return to CSK after many years but hasn’t looked at his best so far. He has picked up only a few wickets in the IPL 2025 and has struggled to make a big impact.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti: The talented pacer hasn’t played a match in IPL 2025 yet. He’s known for his raw pace and can bowl over 145 kmph every ball, which could give CSK a boost if he gets a chance.

Anuj Rawat: A talented batter who can be a good option as an Impact Player to make an impact in the middle overs. He can hit big hits if Gujarat loses early wickets while batting first or if they need quick runs while chasing a big target.
Ishant Sharma: The experienced fast bowler can be a handy Impact Player when bowling second, especially if the pitch helps pace bowlers. He has taken 95 wickets in 115 IPL matches over the years.
Prasidh Krishna: He is also on the Impact Player list in the last few games. If Gujarat bats first, he can be brought in during the second innings to strengthen the bowling attack. He can make impact when the pitch helps for fast bowling.
