IPL 2025: GT vs MI Match 56- Who will be Impact Players for today's match?

Mumbai Indians(MI) will play against Gujarat Titans(GT) in the  Fifty-Sixth match of IPL 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Both failed to qualify for playoffs in the IPL 2024. In the 9th match of IPL 2025, Gujarat Titans (GT) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) by 36 runs. GT set a target of 197, with Sai Sudharsan scoring 63 runs. MI struggled in their chase, finishing at 160/6. Prasidh Krishna was the standout bowler and won the Player of the Match award for his performance. The match was held in Ahmedabad.

GT: Impact players

Anuj Rawat: He’s a skilled powerfull batter who can come in as an impact substitute if Gujarat loses early wickets while batting first or if they need to chase a big target in the second innings.

Ishant Sharma: A seasoned fast bowler who can be used as an impact player when bowling second, especially if the pitch suits pacers. He has taken 95 wickets in 115 IPL matches.

Sherfane Rutherford: A middle-order batter who was used as an impact substitute in the last match against PBKS. He can be brought in if Gujarat needs more batting strength after losing early wickets or can replace a bowler in the second innings.

Prasidh Krishna: He was also part of the impact player list in the last game and can be used as an impact substitute in the second innings if Gujarat is batting first.

MI: Impact players

Vignesh Puthur: A left-arm wrist-spinner who can be used as an impact substitute in the second innings. He was brought in during the game against CSK and took three wickets, making a big impact.

Corbin Bosch: After a strong performance for MI Cape Town in the SA20, Bosch can be used in the second innings if the conditions suit fast bowlers. He’s taken five wickets in his last three T20 matches.

Karn Sharma: A crafty leg-spinner who can be used as a substitute in the second innings if the conditions are good for spin bowlers. He has 79 wickets in his IPL career.

Raj Bawa: A batting all-rounder who has scored 308 runs and taken 22 wickets in 21 T20 matches. Raj Angad Bawa is a solid choice to be used as an Impact Player.
