Match number 29 of IPL 2025 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) turned out to be a high-scoring thriller filled with boundaries and sixes, thanks to the batting-friendly conditions. However, one moment away from the bat-and-ball action that drew fans' attention was a tense exchange between veteran Indian batter Karun Nair and pace ace Jasprit Bumrah.

The incident occurred in the sixth over of the DC innings when Karun Nair, batting fluently on 48, took on Bumrah's final delivery and tried to sneak a second run. During the second run, Nair accidentally bumped into Bumrah. Though he immediately apologized after completing the run, the moment seemed to spark tension.
