Match 56 of IPL 2025 sees Mumbai Indians (MI) taking on Gujarat Titans (GT) in a vital playoff battle at Wankhede on May 5 at 7.30 PM IST. Both teams are sitting with 7 wins. Expect to see plenty of runs scored on a batting-friendly pitch, with dew providing assistance for the chasing team (if applicable). MI will be relying on their power-packed top order to score runs against GT’s spinner options, while GT’s batting lineup will have to deal with the pace threat from Bumrah.
MI and GT have faced off 6 times in the IPL since GT’s debut in 2022, with GT holding a clear advantage:
At Wankhede Stadium, MI has won 2 of 3 encounters, giving them a slight edge at home.
