IPL 2025: Probable Playing XI for GT vs LSG

The 64th match of the IPL 2025 has been scheduled for the Gujarat Titans vs Lucknow Super Giants (GT vs LSG). Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad) will host this fixture on Thursday evening (May 22). They have already faced each other once this season, where LSG won by six wickets after successfully chasing the 181-run target in the final over. 

Both teams will play their 13th match of the IPL 2025. In the latest IPL 2025 points table, Gujarat Titans are on top with 18 points after recording nine wins and three losses, and Lucknow Super Giants are in the seventh position with 10 points, recording five wins and seven losses. 

While Gujarat Titans have already secured their qualification for the Playoffs of this IPL season, they still need to win at least one more match to secure their place in the top two positions in the final IPL 2025 points table. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants have already been eliminated from the tournament, while they still have to play two more matches.

Gujarat Titans don’t need to make any significant changes in the squad. However, the franchise can rest some of their key players before the Playoffs, while Washington Sundar can earn another call-up in the squad. 

In the LSG squad, should David Miller be added to the playing squad to make the batting unit stronger? However, the South African was mostly silent with his bat this season.
