In the Punjab Kings squad, New Zealand cricketer Kyle Jamieson joined as a replacement for the injured Lockie Ferguson, while Mitchell Owen already replaced another injured Glenn Maxwell. Meanwhile, Josh Inglis, Marcus Stoinis, and Aaron Hardie are uncertain for the remainder of this tournament.
