  • Result: KKR won by 80 runs

KKR had a huge total, built on a strong start by Venkatesh Iyer (60 (29)) and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (50 (32)) and the late innings efforts by Rinku Singh (32* (17)).  SRH had no answer to the KKR bowling led by Vaibhav Arora (3/29) and Varun Chakravarthy (3/22) Heinrich Klaasen's (33 (21)) effort was the only resistance.   Arora was named player of the match for his impact in the powerplay.  

IPL 2024, Qualifier 1 - May 21, Ahmedabad

  • SRH: 159 (19.3 OVERS)
  • KKR: 164/2 (13.4 OV
  • Result: KKR won by 8 wickets

SRH was only able to post an average total thanks to Rahul Tripathi's (55 (35)).  KKR's chase was clinical, with Venkatesh Iyer (51* (28)) and Shreyas Iyer (58* (24)) putting the chase well in control. Mitchell Starc (3/34) was named player of the match after his early use of wicket-taking bowling that saw Travis Head dismissed for a golden duck - crippling SRH's top order.

IPL 2024, Match 3 - March 23, Kolkata

  • KKR: 208/7 (20 OVERS)
  • SRH: 204/7 (20 OVERS)
  • Result: KKR won by 4 runs.

KKR's run scoring provided a strong total for KKR thanks to Andre Russell's 64* (25) run explosion.   SRH's Heinrich Klaasen (63 (29)) provided some fight back, but it ultimately fell short due to Harshit Rana (3/33) ruining KKR's plans in the final over.  Harshit was named player of the match for his match-winning wickets and calmness under pressure.  

IPL 2023, Match 47 - May 4, Hyderabad

  • SRH: 171/9 (20 OVERS)
  • KKR: 175/5 (19.1 OV
  • Result: KKR won by 5 wickets

Aiden Markram’s 41 (40) anchored SRH’s innings, but KKR chased it down with Rinku Singh’s 46 (35) and Nitish Rana’s 42 (31). Varun Chakravarthy (2/26) was Player of the Match for his tight spin bowling, dismissing key SRH batsmen like Abhishek Sharma, tilting the game in KKR’s favor.
