The ‘super sixes challenge’ returned in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, post the clash between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, where the former displayed some magical all-round performance to earn victories and take them to a strong position.
The Super Sixes challenge was a regular feature in past editions of the competition, where players would take on the bowling machines and showcase their power and skill to hit the longest six and earn a cash prize. And for this challenge in Delhi, it was a surprising member who got the award.

Despite that, Nabi won the ‘Angel One Super Sixes Award’ and a cash prize of INR 2 lakh rupees. That’s a massive positive for the Jammu and Kashmir player, whom DC could think of slotting in the lower order, as he could contribute a few nasty blows with the bat.
With the ball, he was in tremendous form, ending as the leading wicket-taker of the Ranji Trophy 2025/26. The J&K bowler collected 60 wickets in 17 innings at an average of 12.56 and a strike rate of 28.43, thanks to seven five-wicket hauls and a couple of four-wicket hauls.
