IPL 2026: David Miller launches massive 106m six off Prasidh Krishna during DC vs GT clash

The Delhi Capitals (DC) clashed against the Gujarat Titans (GT) on April 8 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. The home team started well against the visitors and put up 210 runs on the board. It looked like an easy chase for DC when KL Rahul was on the crease. However, after his dismissal, the team fell apart, losing the match by just a run. 

David Miller's unbeaten 41 runs went in vain as he couldn't take the game home. However, they did put up a tough fight, especially Miller, who stood there like a lone warrior till the last ball of the match. In the 20th over, he hit a huge six out of the park, stunning the crowd.

DC's star batter of the night, David Miller, hit a huge six off Prasidh Krishna, leaving the crowd and the players stunned. After the ball went into the stands, the six-meter showed that it was a 106-meter six. He hit the ball in the 19.4 overs, when Krishna bowled a slot delivery, full and outside off. 

Miller made sure to deposit the ball into the stands, keeping the crowd on their toes the entire time. Despite these magnificent efforts, DC lost the close match, and their winning streak came to an end. However, the team's batting performance is surely a positive to take from today's match. 

GT defeat DC in last-ball thriller

Whenever the target is above 200, the fans already know that the game is going to be a thriller. In today's game, GT put up 210 runs on the board and managed to take the game till the last over with their bowling. On the other hand, DC batters were in the mood today. KL Rahul scored 92 runs, and Miller remained unbeaten on 41 runs, but both failed to take the game home. 

In the last ball, DC required just two runs with a set batter, Miller, on the crease. However, Krishna bowled a slower short ball that the batter failed to read. Yet, he ran towards the other end while Kuldeep Yadav ran towards the batting end, but failed to reach on time. He was run out as DC lost the match. GT registered their first win of the season while DC lost their first game.
