The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) put up a great fight against the Delhi Capitals (DC) in their own home turf at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led team won their fifth match of the season and are cruising towards the playoffs. The Super Kings defeated DC by eight wickets and will play their next two games against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

The upcoming four matches are a must-win for CSK, and they will also keep their eyes on the top two spots as well. The top four teams have collapsed, and hence, this gives a chance for the Men in Yellow to make a way into the top two with ease. The team is performing well and is in sync with each other, something which they had missed at the start of the tournament.

CSK's star all-rounder and the man of the moment, Jamie Overton, has always been handy on the field. He has taken wickets and scored runs whenever necessary and has also taken some stunning catches as well. He opened up about Ruturaj's captaincy and how he is as cool as MS Dhoni. Jamieson implied that Gaikwad has learnt from the best and that's why he is a chill captain.

"We are a relaxed group of players. Everyone is really composed. It's a great team to be a part of. Rutu is one of the most chilled Captains, learned from the best, MS Dhoni - he is phenomenal really," said Jamie Overton in the video shared by IPL.
