IPL 2026, Match 13 - RR vs MI: Toss Update and Playing XI

It is the match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians (RR vs MI) at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday night (April 7). It is going to be the second game at this venue in the IPL 2026, while both teams are ready to play their third game of the season.  

Rain has played the spoilsport of the game, as the game hasn't been started for more than two hours of the scheduled time. Despite multiple rain interruptions, the ground staff has played an important role in making the ground possible for a short game.

The match has now been reduced to an 11-over game per side, with a powerplay of the first 3.2 overs. In an innings, while only one bowler can deliver a maximum of three overs, the other four bowlers can deliver a maximum of two overs each. 

The inaugural IPL champions Rajasthan Royals, won both their first two matches in the season. After thrashing Chennai Super Kings in their tournament opener by eight wickets at Guwahati, Royals claimed a six-run win against the hosts Gujarat Titans. 

In the meantime, the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians also started the IPL 2026 with a comfortable win at home against Kolkata Knight Riders, where MI chased down the target of 221 runs in 19.1 overs after losing four wickets. However, in their next game, MI suffered a six-wicket defeat against Delhi Capitals.

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to field first. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals skipper Riyan Parag would also choose to field first if he won the toss.
