IPL 2026, Match 15 - KKR vs LSG: Toss Update and Playing XI

The Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants (KKR vs LSG) match is set to be played on Thursday night (April 9). It is the 15th match of the IPL 2026, which Eden Gardens in Kolkata is hosting. It is the third game at this venue in this IPL season, while KKR are playing their fourth game of the season, and LSG are ready for their third match of the tournament. 

Kolkata Knight Riders are playing their fourth game of the season, as they are searching for their first win of the season. Starting the season with a six-wicket defeat against the hosts Mumbai Indians, KKR lost by 65 runs against SunRisers Hyderabad at home. They also played their next game at home against Punjab Kings, where they were struggling at 25/2 when rain interrupted the game to force a no result. 

On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants are ready for their third game of the season. While they suffered a six-wicket defeat against Delhi Capitals, they beat the hosts SunRisers Hyderabad by five wickets in a final over thriller.

Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and chose to bowl first. In the meantime, Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Ajinkya Rahane also confirmed that he would choose to bowl first.
