IPL 2026, Match 16 - RR vs RCB: Toss Update and Playing XI

The 16th match of the IPL 2026 has been scheduled for the Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RR vs RCB) match. Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati is hosting this fixture on Friday night (April 10). It is the third game at the venue this season, while RR are playing their fourth game, and RCB are playing their third match of the season. 

Due to rain interruptions, the toss has been delayed for an hour. While the match is set to begin in 45 minutes after the scheduled starting time, there is no reduction in the number of overs at the moment. However, at the toss, the rain once again returned, which could cause further interruption of the game. 

Both Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are unbeaten in the ongoing IPL 2026. The inaugural IPL champions (2008) Rajasthan Royals won their first three matches of the season against Chennai Super Kings (by eight wickets), Gujarat Titans (by six runs), and Mumbai Indians (by 27 runs). Meanwhile, the defending champions RCB started the season strongly with back-to-back dominating victories against SunRisers Hyderabad (by six wickets) and Chennai Super Kings (by 43 runs).
