IPL 2026, Match 18 - CSK vs DC: Toss Update and Playing XI

The Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Capitals (CSK vs DC) match has been scheduled for the 18th game of the IPL 2026. MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk, Chennai) is set to host this fixture on Saturday night (April 11). While it is the second game at this venue in the ongoing IPL season, both teams are playing their fourth game. 

The five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings have a poor start in the IPL 2026 season, as they have lost all their first three matches of the season. Starting the season with an eight-wicket defeat against the hosts Rajasthan Royals, CSK lost their second game against Punjab Kings at home by five wickets. In their third fixture, they faced the hosts Royal Challengers Bengaluru, where the defending champions beat CSK by 43 runs. 

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals started the new IPL season by winning their first two matches, while suffering a defeat in their last game. After beating Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians by six wickets each, DC lost their last game against Gujarat Titans by just one run.

Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel won the toss and chose to bowl first. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad also confirmed that he would choose to bowl first.
