IPL 2026, Match 20 - MI vs RCB: Toss Update and Playing XI

Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is hosting the 20th game of the IPL 2026 on Sunday night (April 12), which has been scheduled between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (MI vs RCB). It is the second game for this venue in the IPL 2026, while both teams are playing their fourth game of the season. 

The five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians started this season with a comfortable six-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders at home, which was MI's first season-opener victory since 2013. However, in their next two games, MI lost against Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals by six wickets and 27 runs, respectively. 

The defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their first two games of the season before losing their last one. While RCB thrashed SunRisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings by six wickets and 43 runs, respectively, they lost their last fixture against Rajasthan Royals by six wickets.

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to field first. In the meantime, Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Rajat Patidar was in good spirits with their fate, while he would also like to bowl first at the venue.
