Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (DC vs RCB) match has been scheduled for the 39th match of the IPL 2026 on Monday night (April 27). Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi is hosting this fixture, which is the fourth match at this venue in this season. On the other hand, both teams are playing their eighth game of the season. In the meantime, it will be their second meeting of the season. 

Delhi Capitals are in the seventh position in the IPL 2026 points table with six points in seven games, recording three wins and four losses. DC are going through a tough moment with only one win in last five games, while their last win was against the hosts RCB. DC are starting this fixture after losing their last two games.

Meanwhile, the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru are in the second position in the same points table with 10 points after recording five wins and two losses. In their last four matches, RCB recorded three wins, which means that they are in strong form at the moment.

It is their second meeting of the season. Bengaluru hosted their previous meeting during the 26th game of the tournament. While RCB scored 175/8, DC chased down the target in 19.5 overs after losing four wickets, where Tristan Stubbs won the Player of the Match for his match-winning knock of 60 not out off 47 balls (four fours and one six).

Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and chose to field first. Meanwhile, the home captain, Axar Patel from Delhi Capitals, also clarified that he would choose to bowl first.
