The Playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 are just a week away as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the tournament’s governing council have released the dates and prices for the fans to buy the tickets for the qualifier, eliminator, and the final. The knockout stage of the event begins on May 26.
Only the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, are currently at the top of the points table with nine victories in 13 clashes at a strong net run rate of +1.065. There are still three places up for grabs to earn the playoff spots among the four available spots.

The BCCI has released the much-awaited ticket sale schedule for the high-stakes Playoffs. District by Zomato has been appointed as the exclusive ticketing partner for the knockout phase. The tickets will go live on May 20.
The RuPay credit cardholders will get an exclusive 24-hour priority access window beginning on May 20 to secure the tickets for the first qualifier and the eliminator.

Meanwhile, the same advantage for those specific fans will be available on May 22 for the second qualifier and the final of the event. The non-exclusive phase 1 ticket sales for the first two knockout games will begin on May 21, and the phase 1 sales for the last two games will commence on May 23, 2026.

- Look for the IPL or Sports events banner on the home screen. Search for the ‘IPL Playoffs’ and ‘Qualifier 1’ as the matches will appear once the sale goes live from May 20.
- Choose from Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, or the Final.
- Select the number of the tickets (maximum four per user per match). Browse the categories and use the seat map to choose the specific seats. Add to cart.
- During the exclusive windows (May 20 and 22 at 7 pm), the RuPay credit cardholders get priority. Select the RuPay card at checkout to avail the early access.
