Along with speculations related to Sanju Samson, some other players' futures in Rajasthan Royals (RR) look uncertain. According to some fresh rumors, Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal's possibilities in RR are also in dilemma. Jaiswal, one of the most prolific emerging talents of Indian cricket, might have thought to leave the franchise and try his luck somewhere else.

As it is widely claimed that Samson can leave the team, a question parallelly emerges: if he really leaves, who will lead the team for IPL 2026? Last season, when the keeper-batter missed multiple matches due to injury concerns, the team management trusted Riyan Parag for leadership duties. But the management may not consider him as a regular-time captain for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.

Now, the situation will be more complicated if a Sanju-less RR does not appoint Parag as their regular captain. If the situation arises, who'll be their leader?

Jurel to leave RR ahead of IPL 2026?

Here comes the twist. According to some recent claims, Yashasvi Jaiswal was considering leaving Rajasthan Royals, but the management convinced him to stay. If things go in the right direction and the claims are to be believed, then in place of Samson, Jaiswal can get the captain's armband.

In direct claim it is said, "Strong chances of Yashasvi Jaiswal becoming RR’s new captain—otherwise, he too might look to move on." Jurel's future in the pink and blue brigade is also uncertain; he too can consider taking an exit from the club, as claimed in the video posted on social media platforms.
