Following two very successful seasons, the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) is ready to launch its third season, and it promises to be bigger, better, and more ambitious than before. The ISPL is scheduled to take place in Surat from January 9 to February 6, 2026, and has already captured the hearts and minds of its fans as well as players.

The Indian Street Premier League is India’s first professional tennis-ball T10 league, and since it debuted in 2024, it has taken on a life of its own. The ISPL has experienced every milestone – higher television ratings, sold-out stadiums, and millions of players registered to play. The league is revolutionizing grassroots cricket in India. What started as an experiment has now developed into a movement that is creating stars from street cricket.

There are numerous historic firsts for Season 3. The format will introduce eight teams with franchises from Ahmedabad and Delhi. The ownership list is star-studded and includes Bollywood superstars Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan, joining the list of existing owners, including Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Suriya, and Ram Charan.

ISPL Season 3 Brings Bigger Stakes and Dreams

One of the thrilling elements of the tournament will be the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award – the MVP will drive home the new Porsche 911. Suraj Samat, the League Commissioner, equated this to the Audi prize awarded to Ravi Shastri in 1985, and mentioned that this sort of reward can inspire young players to dream big and aim high. The purse for the team will also be increased by 50% to ₹1.5 crore, adding more stakes for franchises and players.

The ISPL is also focused heavily on youth development, with each team required to have two under-19 players in its squad of 18. We have over 4.3 million registered for trials in 101 cities, allowing the league to provide a unique platform for aspiring athletes to showcase their talent.

Cricket icon and ISPL core committee member  Sachin Tendulkar commended the league's responsibilities, saying the tournament has "moved from solely being a tournament to become an initiative that will change the course of Indian cricket." Looking ahead, ISPL also announced the Zonal Institution model for Season 4, a system with a talent-scouting framework to make sure that raw talent that exists in the farthest reaches of the country gets noticed.

With its unique blend of grassroots focus, celebrity backing, and global-level rewards, ISPL Season 3 is set to capture the nation’s attention. For young players dreaming of stardom, this league is more than just a competition; it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
