Abhishek Sharma in full flow. For Team India, he ignited the run chase with a six against Pakistan's pacer Shaheen Afridi, and instantly the match got more intense. To make the on-field rivalry deeper, Sharma chose to throw some words to the pacer. 

Afridi has a lot of experience bowling in the first over of matches in the T20I format. According to stats, the Pakistan pacer has bowled the first over in the T20I format 70 times, the second most by a bowler from a Full Member team. Abhishek Sharma became the first-ever batter in the world to hit him for a six off the first ball of his spell. 

Sharma showed the fast bowler why he is considered one of the most talented young batters in the world. Ahead of the match, tension between the two teams was already there. During big matches, where pressure can be immense on players, it became a game of holding nerves. The players who can hold their nerves well and play on strength can emerge as a match winner. The way Abhishek started to bat reflected his oozing confidence, that too under pressure.

Abhishek Sharma used some words in the middle to Shaheen Afridi 

For the first ball of the second innings, Afridi delivered a short pitch ball, angling towards the left stump. As Sharma is a left-handed batter, the ball went in with a good amount of pace. But the batter was well prepared, standing strong on the pitch, and delivered a pull shot. There was enough power behind the shot to put the ball over the boundary ropes. 

After hitting the ball swiftly, it was the batter's turn to put pressure on the bowler by using words. The young India batter sledged Shaheen Afridi in the middle by saying, 'Jaa ball daal (Go and bowl).'
