Ishan Kishan slammed 32-ball 76 runs
Ishan Kishan had a powerful 122-run partnership in just 48 balls with the skipper Suryakumar Yadav for the third wicket, as while the hosts were once struggling at 6/2 in 1.1 overs, India quickly found themselves at 128/2 in just nine overs.
While Ishan returned to international cricket after more than two years during the T20I series opener last Wednesday (January 21), he completed his seventh T20I half-century in just 21 balls. With the help of 11 fours and four sixes, Ishan slammed 76 off just 32 balls before losing his wicket in the 10th over of the innings.
Later, the Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav scored 82 not out off 37 balls with nine fours and four sixes, while Shivam Dube played a powerful knock of 36 not out off 18 balls with one four and three sixes, as the hosts chased down the target in just 15.2 overs after losing three wickets.
