An important match of IPL 2025 was played between Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this match, Lucknow Supergiants defeated Gujarat Titans by a huge margin of 33 runs and won a spectacular victory. In this match, Lucknow had set a target of 236 runs in front of Gujarat Titans. In response, Gujarat Titans team could score only 202 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

In this match, Mitchell Marsh scored a brilliant century and played an innings of 117 runs in 64 balls with the help of 10 fours and 8 sixes. Apart from this, Markram scored 36 runs in 24 balls and Nicholas Pooran scored 56 runs in 27 balls which included 4 fours and 5 sixes. Captain Rishabh Pant also played an innings of 16 runs in 6 balls in the end. Arshad Khan and Sai Kishore got one success each from the Gujarat Titans team.

Gujarat's batting failed in front of the big target

Chasing the target of 236 runs given by Lucknow Supergiants, the Gujarat Titans team got a fast start. Gujarat Titans team captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan gave the team a fast start of 46 runs in 27 balls. But Sai Sudarshan was out after scoring 21 runs. Captain Shubman Gill played an innings of 35 runs in 20 balls and he also returned to the pavilion after getting out. Jos Buttler played an innings of 33 runs in 18 balls. Apart from this, Rutherford scored 38 runs in 22 balls and Shahrukh Khan scored 57 runs but they could not make the team win. From the Lucknow team, Will Auroch took 3 wickets and Badoni took 2 wickets each.
