The Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RR vs RCB) match experienced a great battle after rain delayed the game. While rain forced a delayed start, RCB teammates Jitesh Sharma and Jacob Bethell were busy in a funny game. 

Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati hosted the 16th match of the IPL 2026, RR vs RCB, on Friday night (April 10). Due to the rain interruption, the toss was delayed for an hour. While the delayed match start was fixed at 8:15 PM local time, it was further delayed to 8:40 PM after another short rain interruption.

Ultimately, we got a full 20-over exciting game, where RR claimed a strong win to maintain their winning streak of the season. On the other hand, during the rain interruption, the RCB dugout saw a funny game between Jitesh Sharma and the English cricketer Jacob Bethell. 

RCB fight hard to score 201

After RR captain Riyan Parag sent the visitors to bat first, defending champions RCB were struggling at 125/7. However, captain Rajat Patidar fought hard with 63 off 40 balls, while the cameos of Romario Shepherd (22 off 11 balls) and impact player Venkatesh Iyer (29 not out off 15 balls) helped RCB to score 201/8 in 20 overs. 

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel ensure solid win for RR 

In reply, while Yashasvi Jaiswal (13) was dismissed cheaply, his opening partner Vaibhav Sooryavanshi thrashed the RCB bowlers with his brilliant knock of 78 off 26 balls with eight fours and seven sixes. After his dismissal, Dhruv Jurel safely guided Rajasthan Royals to victory, as the no.3 batter scored 81 not out off 43 balls with eight fours and three sixes.
