Ahead of their contest between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Delhi Capitals, the DC batter KL Rahul was engaged in a battle against bowler Auqib Nabi in the practice during the IPL 2026.

KL Rahul hasn’t been part of the Indian T20I side for a long time, and he has been trying his best through the Indian Premier League (IPL) with several strong seasons with the bat. Since the 2018 season of the event, Rahul has crossed the 500-run mark in every edition when he played at least 10 games.
Ahead of the 2026 season, for the Delhi Capitals, KL Rahul would be eager to continue the same dominance against the world-class bowlers of world cricket. The right-handed batter prepared himself in the practice session against their new bowler, Auqib Nabi, who turned up after a special domestic season with the red ball for Jammu and Kashmir.

The J&K bowler decided to cut the length of the delivery as Rahul went into the backfoot and timed it through the covers for a couple of runs. His in-swinging delivery then surprised the Karnataka batter into the backfoot before the batter later scored a few singles against different balls.
