Know details of India's squad selection and press conference for two Tests at home against West Indies
Know the details of when and how the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will announce their 15-member Test squad against West Indies through a press-conference for the two-match home Test series next week.

Amidst the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 in the United Arab Emirates, where India have already qualified for the final on September 28 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the focus is also on the two-match Test series against the West Indies at home, which is scheduled to begin next week as the Blue Brigade looks to gain vital points of the WTC 2025-27 campaign.
The Shubman Gill-led side was excellent with the bat in their last away series against England in the United Kingdom, which they were able to draw 2-2. Mohammed Siraj’s inspiring bowling performance led them to a special victory during the fifth and final Test at the Kennington Oval in South London.
For the squad selection of the Test side, the chief selector of the BCCI, Ajit Agarkar, has flown to Dubai, where they will reveal the 15-member squad for the series, along with a press conference on September 25 at 12:30 pm IST. With the games being played in India, the spinners are expected to hold a huge position in the side.

Ravindra Jadeja, who underwent his fitness test at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, is likely to be the leader of the spin attack along with Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav, while Manav Suthar, who has been excellent in the last couple of seasons of the Ranji Trophy and the ongoing series against Australia A, is likely to be included.
Siraj is likely to be the leader of the pace attack. There are reports of the premier pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, giving his availability for the series. He didn’t feature in the last London Test of the series and struggled during the Asia Cup to find the right line and length.
Sai Sudharsan is likely to hold the number three position, with no confirmation on Karun Nair. Devdutt Padikkal is likely to make his return to the Test side for the West Indies games. The opening game will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad before they move to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
