The right-hander followed it up with another fluent knock, 77 runs off 61 deliveries in the first against Gujarat, out of which his half-century came off just 29 balls as he claimed the player of the match award. He also made a massive impact in the field by grabbing two crucial catches to help Delhi clinch the seven-run victory.
When will Virat Kohli play his next game for Delhi in VHT 2025/26?
Despite his availability, Kohli is likely to feature in at least one more VHT match for Delhi. He is expected to feature in the next game against Railways on January 06, 2026, ahead of India’s ODI series against Blackcaps.
Kohli is scheduled to play against Railways on January 06 next year, ahead of India’s 50-over series against the Kiwis. He has also been in superb touch at the international level, having recorded two centuries against the Proteas in the recently finished series. He also celebrated a fine half-century against Australia down under.
Post the New Zealand series at home, Kohli will feature in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 in March and April before playing for the Indian side in the ODI series against England away from home. Kohli, with these two knocks, has ended the speculation of featuring in the 2027 World Cup.
