RCB defeat CSK in southern derby in IPL 2026

Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered a strong 43-run win over Chennai Super Kings in this match. Batting first, RCB scored a huge 250/3 in 20 overs. Phil Salt gave a good start with 46 runs, while Virat Kohli added 28. Devdutt Padikkal scored a solid 50, and then Rajat Patidar (48*) and Tim David (70*) finished strongly with a brilliant 99-run partnership.

During the innings, CSK lost the wickets very early and remained under pressure. Sarfaraz Khan in a quick attack tried to restore the things and a few players contributed too. But RCB bowlers were able to keep control and not let CSK get close. At last CSK were limited to 207 giving RCB an easy win.

RCB’s good show helped them maintain their good start in the IPL 2026. Meanwhile, CSK are struggling at the bottom of the table following three successive defeats.
