Kuldeep Yadav took back-to-back wickets against Pakistan. During the India vs Pakistan 6th game of the Asia Cup 2025, Yadav again trapped the batter in his wave. Mohammad Nawaz and Hasan Nawaz were tricked by his spin and variations. 

During the India vs. United Arab Emirates match, which was India's opening match of the 2025 Asia Cup, Yadav hinted to be in form. Against Pakistan, he proved the hint accurate. He is in form. The star India spinner took the wickets of two Pakistan batters in two consecutive balls. He was again on the verge of claiming a hat trick. 

During the 4th ball of the 13th over of the first innings of the IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 match, he took the wicket of Hassan Nawaz. He tried to take on Yadav by playing a slog sweep but managed to get only a top edge. The ball went high in the air. Axar Patel, from the slip, called for the catch and took it. Hasan Nawaz departed for 5 (7), and Pakistan is 64/5.

2 wickets in 2 balls for Kuldeep Yadav vs Pakistan in Asia Cup 2025

On the next delivery, Mohammad Nawaz went for a golden duck. Kuldeep placed the delivery into the batter, angled towards the leg stump. The batter tried to prevent it by pushing in on the side but missed all parts of the ball, and Kuldeep got back-to-back wickets. 

Pakistan elected to bat first after winning the toss, and they managed to register only 127 runs on the scoreboard in exchange for 9 slaps. Yadav concluded his 4-over spell with 3 wickets against 18 overs. Against the UAE, the experienced spinner bagged a 4-wicket figure. He continued his form against the archrival as well.
