In the 26th match of The Hundred 2025, London Spirit took on Southern Brave at Lord’s. Southern Brave captain James Vince won the toss and decided to bowl first. Both teams made one change. Chris Jordan missed out for the Brave, with Jordan Thompson coming in, while Spirit brought in Jafer Chohan for Daniel Worral.

David Warner and Jamie Smith gave Spirit a flying start, adding 66 runs for the first wicket. Warner made 25, while Smith smashed a quick 44 off just 18 balls with four fours and three sixes. Kane Williamson kept the momentum going with a classy 53 from 28 balls. In the end, Jamie Overton’s 16 from runs in 7 balls pushed them to 186/4.

The chase never really clicked for the Brave. They lost both openers, Vince and Leus du Plooy, with only 16 on the board. Jason Roy tried to fight back with 37 off 23 balls, and Laurie Evans also hit 37 from 21, but the rest of the batting fell apart. Southern Brave were bowled out for 139 in 92 balls, giving London Spirit a 47-run win. Richard Gleeson and Liam Dawson were the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets each.
