'Lost game but...'- Haris Rauf's wife insults India with 6-0 taunt despite Pakistan's Super 4 defeat in Asia Cup 2025
The right-arm expressive pacer of the Pakistan side, Haris Rauf's wife has insulted the Indian team with a taunt of 6-0 mark despite Pakistan's defeat during their Super 4 fixture in the 2025 season of the Asia Cup.

Pakistan’s right-arm pacer, Haris Rauf, grabbed a lot of attention for his funky behavior during the Super Four fixture against India during the 2025 season of the Asia Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. He was the best bowler for the Salman Ali Agha-led side, picking up two wickets of India’s captain, Suryakumar Yadav, and Sanju Samson.
However, while fielding at the boundary rope, Rauf made a controversial gesture of 6-0 and fighter jets when the crowd started to shout Virat Kohli at him, perhaps recalling the shot from the former captain during the 2022 T20 World Cup in Melbourne. Earlier in the practice session, Rauf chanted 6-0 during their practice session on the eve of the game.
Following the encounter, Harif Rauf’s wife shared an Instagram story saying, ‘Lost the game but won the battle!!’ Pakistan, however, has faced its second successive defeat against the Blue Brigade in the ongoing tournament within a week. Another defeat against one of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will also put the curtains down on their journey.

The 6-0 reference is linked to Pakistan’s claims of shooting six Indian fighter jets during the four-day conflict of Operation Sindhoor. Rauf’s gesture was seen to have echoed the false narrative as India launched the attack in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, which took 26 innocent lives in the POK camp in May earlier this year.
Pakistan, losing the toss, posted 171/5 in their allotted 20 overs of the first innings thanks to Sahibzada Farhan’s fine 58-run knock in 45 balls before Faheem Ashraf pushed them over 170 with an unbeaten knock of 20 runs in eight balls. Their middle order, however, couldn’t contribute much in the clash.
India didn’t need to sweat much in the chase. The 105-run opening stand laid the platform for their win, with Abhishek Sharma clubbing 74 runs in 39 balls at a strike rate of 189.74 while Tilak Verma smashing 30 runs in 19 balls at a strike rate of 157.89. They completed the chase by six wickets with seven balls to spare.
