During the first innings of the Delhi Test, Gill was involved in a steady and long partnership with the opening batter, Yashasvi Jaiswal, when the camera found a female fan holding up a placard that read, “I love you, Shubman.” The crowd erupted as the broadcasters highlighted the light-hearted moment. “I’ve been single for over three years. There have been so many speculations and rumors linking me with different people. Sometimes, it’s so ridiculous that I would have never even seen or met that person in my life. And I would be hearing rumors that I’m with this person and this person, where else I’d be like.” Gil addressed.
