The five-time champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Mumbai Indians, will begin their campaign in the 2026 season of the competition against the Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 at the home ground, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, which hosted several games of the recently concluded Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Along with the batters towards the end of the competition, the bowlers and a few batters also enjoyed the proceedings. After the home game against the IPL 2024 champions, MI will travel to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi for their second encounter against the Delhi Capitals (DC), which takes place on April 04 in the evening.

The Hardik Pandya-led side will keep themselves on the road for the third fixture against the Rajasthan Royals at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on April 07 before locking horns with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the home venue on April 12 in the evening. That’s the last game of the current partial schedule of the tournament.
How to buy MI’s tickets in IPL 2026
Here are the steps for buying IPL 2026 tickets for the Mumbai Indians (MI)-
- If a fan wants to attend the live Mumbai Indians match at the Wankhede Stadium, then they will need to go to the Book My Show platform or to the official IPL website.
- In the second process, they will need to select the match they want to attend. For instance, if the MI’s first game at home is against KKR, then they will have to select the venue and the match date.
- In the next step, they will need to choose one as they will have four stands available. The General Stands (INR 450-850), Standard Seats (INR 900-3000), Premium Seats (INR 4000-18000), and VIP Hospitality (INR 19000+) are up for grabs. These prizes vary based on the high-profile games, play-offs, and other occasions.
- After choosing the stands, the fan will need to fill in their contact details for the ticket confirmation.
- In the final step, they will need to complete the payment by using any of the UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
- Once the payment is done, the fan will get a digital ticket with the QR code via email and SMS. On the match date, they will need to scan it at the stadium and enter the ground.
